B-Dawg, the Dad of our crazy crew, is now enjoying the fruits of middle-age, more money and more bills. Passionate about plant genetics, he spends his days discovering new and better grasses to make the world go around all while rubbing elbows with farmers, golfers, ranchers, and people from around the world. Currently, in his spare time, he putters around his own garden, tinkers with tractors, devours church history, repairs everything, and enjoys lots of lovely walks.
Clarebell, the firstborn, is a perpetual source of sunshine. Made up of a secret mix of Scooby Doo, candy corn, sidewalk chalk, and a natural kindness towards others, she makes every day a delight. As a college student, she takes it all in and puts it all out. A lover of all things natural disaster-like, climatology is an obvious fit for her studies. She also shares a portion of her time with some of her favorite people, make that pets, at a local animal shelter where she shares her inherent core of love with the unloved and downtrodden.
Fortunately Mule doesn’t live up to his moniker, except when it comes to things he wants to learn. Take his new computer for example. He decides to build one and finishes within a week. Then, there is the tractor he handily puts together as the adults looked on admiringly. Always looking for something to do with his hands, we quickly turn to him for any simple repair or any amazing lego project. He always keeps us guessing as to what new project will catch his eye, but whatever it is, we are guaranteed it will be awesome!
Mimi, dubbed such after a long evening of La Boheme, spends much of her days orchestrating the finer details of family life. If something is missing, she will find it. If something is dirty, she knows how to clean it. If something needs cooking, she can prepare it. Basically whatever you need, she is the source of all knowledge (except church history and sometimes Calculus). On the side, she likes puzzles, especially coding ones. You can also find her out for one of those lovely walks with Rudolpho.
Ma-zoner, a Flynn Rider look-a-like, has the personality to match. Flirty and fun, he remains clueless as to his wide sphere of influence and easily finds his place wherever he goes. Smooth on the floor and off, he rarely has time to himself. Tall and strong, he is up to any task and quick to help. Having labored as a farmhand, he really knows the meaning of hard work. When he is not busy with school work, sports, and his volunteer duties, you can find him playing the piano, dancing, gaming, hanging out, and practicing his latest passion, the ukulele.
Our caboose, dubbed Ben Bim Bom at birth by his two year old brother, is a sly little ginger full of pep and vim. Always finding the silly in life, he can poke fun at a moments notice. If there are any rocks to study, experiments to investigate, birds to chase, or dogs to tease, he is your man. An origami expert, he can fold just about anything. He is also fast and wily though he won’t admit it. Add a little Spanish to the mix and you have arrived at our little man who is quickly becoming a very amazing big man.
